Muna Abraham takes great pride in representing the people in her community. She is a Central Florida native, born and raised here in Orlando, FL. She is a Palestinian American first-generation college graduate. She received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida in 2014. While at UCF, she worked full-time for a local civil litigation firm. During that time, she discovered her love for being a zealous advocate and determined litigator to her clients.
Muna attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Fall 2014. While at UF, she interned with the Florida Capital Resource Center and assisted in representing defendants facing the death penalty. Muna drafted countless motions and conducted the legal research needed to ensure that the rights of her clients were fully protected under the law.
Muna was one of the few participants selected for a rigorous Advanced Trial Advocacy course, where she was trained by experienced Federal Judges and top Florida Bar attorneys in Miami, FL. She was a competing member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team at the University of Florida and competed in national competitions against students from top-tier law schools. In 2017, Muna Abraham graduated from the University of Florida and returned home to Orlando to practice law.
In October 2018, Muna put her criminal law experience to work and began her career at the Ninth Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender. She continued to do what she loved most and represented Orange County’s most vulnerable defendants in her own neighborhood. Muna provided her clients with the representation and assistance they needed when they needed it most. During her time at the Public Defender’s office, she went to trial often and argued countless motions to secure a favorable outcome for her clients even without the need for a trial.
Muna went on to private criminal defense in February 2022. She handled cases ranging from simple misdemeanors and criminal traffic offenses to the most serious felony charges. She is always willing to see a case through and she is not afraid to hold the State to their burden. She has extensive motion hearing and trial experience. She has gone to trial in cases ranging from minor offenses, such as criminal traffic charges, to charges as severe as a double homicide murder. Muna Abraham is a dedicated defense attorney. She is committed to her clients and assesses each case thoroughly and meticulously. She will go the extra mile, ask the hard questions, and stand by her clients every step of the way.
Muna is an active member of the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Orange County Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.
