Mark Longwell

Orlando criminal attorney Mark Longwell was born in Silver Spring, Maryland (adjacent to Washington, D.C.), where he spent his youth. He moved to Grosse Pointe, Michigan in elementary school and graduated high school in 1983. He earned a multi-disciplinary Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Political Science and Psychology from Michigan State University in 1987. In 1990, Mark earned his Juris Doctor Law Degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
After completing an internship at the Office of the United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., Mr. Longwell moved to Orlando, Florida, where he accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney, for the Office of the State Attorney, Ninth Judicial Circuit, under Lawson L. Lamar. Attorney Mark Longwell quickly established himself as a highly effective prosecutor during his tenure with the State Attorney’s Office.
In 1993, Attorney Mark Longwell founded the law firm that is now known as Longwell Lawyers. For more than twenty years, Orlando attorney Mark Longwell and the attorneys at Longwell Lawyers have solved the legal problems of thousands of clients in both criminal defense and family law cases.
Attorney Mark Longwell is admitted to practice and is in good standing with the Florida Bar, since 1991. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, since 1993. Mark is a member of the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, among other professional and community organizations.
Mark’s philosophy and strategy in representing clients is focused on getting the best possible result. His dedication to this philosophy is exemplified in the results he has achieved for the thousands of clients he has represented over the years.
Mark is of Greek descent and is fluent in the Greek language.
